Investing in Youth: The Colorado Credit Union Cares Foundation is deeply committed to supporting youth‑serving organizations that empower the next generation. Through our partnerships with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, we expand access to meaningful financial education and enrichment opportunities for young people and their families.
In partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, we host engaging events in Clubs such as our Piggy Bank Painting workshops, which provide a fun and memorable introduction to saving. We also offer free, hands‑on Family Financial Education Nights, welcoming Club members and their families for interactive evenings focused on real‑life budgeting, saving, and spending. Beyond financial education, our team volunteers regularly at Club locations, supporting youth in dynamic learning spaces that include literacy, STEM, gaming, and art.
Through our partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, we further amplify our impact by integrating both financial education and philanthropic support. We deliver financial literacy workshops for Big Brothers Big Sisters staff, equipping them with practical tools to budget with confidence and manage credit responsibly. In addition, we bring our immersive Reality Fair simulation to teens at the organization’s annual STARS National Conference, offering hands‑on experience with real‑world financial decision‑making.
Together, these partnerships reflect Colorado Credit Union’s ongoing commitment to empowering youth, supporting families, and strengthening the long‑term financial futures of the communities we serve.
