Investing in Young Leaders with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado

Colorado Credit Union staff recently hosted our Bite of Reality financial literacy workshop in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado at their annual STARS National Conference!

Teens had the opportunity to practice real-world saving and budgeting decisions through Bite of Reality, a fun and interactive budgeting simulation.

Participants were given a fictional job, income, family, and monthly budget, and had to make choices ranging from housing and transportation to unexpected expenses.

We were honored to support youth from all over the country as they built leadership skills and explored the importance of financial wellness.
