Colorado Credit Union Cares Foundation is proud to partner with Girl Scouts of Colorado through the Junior Financial Counselor Patch Program, a signature initiative that builds essential financial literacy skills for Girl Scouts across the state. Through this program, participants gain foundational knowledge in budgeting, distinguishing between wants and needs, setting savings goals, and understanding how financial decisions shape their futures.

In collaboration with the Girl Scouts of Colorado team, Colorado Credit Union hosts engaging Junior Financial Counselor Patch Program workshops that invite Girl Scouts to participate in hands‑on, interactive learning experiences. Participants earn their patch by taking part in activities, including our immersive Reality Fair simulation, that allow them to practice real‑life budgeting and saving decisions in a fun, supportive environment.

Beyond building individual confidence, the program empowers Girl Scouts to share their newly acquired knowledge within their families, troops, and communities, extending the reach and impact of financial education.

The Junior Financial Counselor Patch Program equips young leaders with lifelong financial skills, making financial education both meaningful and engaging while inspiring confidence that carries into adulthood.

98% of participants report learning something new and feeling more empowered after completing the program.
